Sports Photography – Cricket – Cardiff Metropolitan University Vs Cardiff University September 2020

After visiting Forest Farm  only to find that the nature had taken the day off, I heard the not too distant sound of leather on willow.  Following the sounds I came upon Cardiff Cricket Clubs home ground.  Time for some Sports Photography!!

On show was a local University derby match between Cardiff Metropolitan University and Cardiff University.

A beautiful sunny warm day – perfect for cricket!  A lot of great skills on show and a great atmosphere kept me focused for a good part of the day.

The hardest part was trimming down the almost 600 images I took.  In the end I managed to get down to around 440 that can be seen in the slideshow below.

Hopefully I managed to get a picture of all the players bowling, batting or fielding.  Apologies to any that I missed!
